Article Submission

Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the five-step process.
Publication Language
The Resol-Tropiques journal publishes original articles in French and English.
For editors and reviewers to accurately assess the content of your contribution you need to ensure the French or English language is of sufficient quality to be understood. If you need help with writing in French or English you should :
- ask a colleague who is a native French or English speaker to review your manuscript for clarity.
- ask a language professional to improve the French or English to ensure that your meaning is clear and identify problems that require your review.
Please bear in mind that the high quality language is not the sole requirement for publication in the journal and does not imply or guarantee that the article will be selected for peer review or accepted.
Privacy Statement
The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
All the Editorial Committee and the technical administrators have access to the database of emails and contributions, whether published or not.
At any time you can ask that your address is locked or cancelled in order not to receive any updates or information.
Corresponding Author
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all listed authors have approved the manuscript before submission, including the names and order of authors, and that all authors receive the submission and all substantive correspondence with editors, as well as the full reviews, verifying that all data, figures, materials comply with the transparency and reproducibility standards of both the field and journal.
The corresponding author must ensure that the entire group of authors is aware of and agrees with the conditions of publication.
The corresponding author must indicate if authors from previous versions have been removed or if new authors have been added and why. It is the responsibility of the corresponding author to ensure that all authors have certified the list of authors and the description of their contribution.
Any dispute over authorship of an article or other scientific contribution brought to the attention of the editors will be handled in accordance with the COPE guidelines.
Consent for Publication Rights
For all manuscripts that include details, images, or videos relating to an individual person, written informed consent for the publication of these details must be obtained from that person. The consent must be for publication of their details under the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0.
Withdrawal of an Article
Resol-Tropiques magazine can decide to withdraw an article in cases of honest errors (e.g.: miscalculation or experimental error), fraud, dubious practices related to the fabrication of data, falsifications, plagiarism, etc. The review will follow the following steps:
- Gather objective evidence to support the invalidation of the article.
- Publish a notice detailing the reasons for withdrawal
- Write "Retracted" on each page of the article (electronic version).

Article Processing Charges
In order to make scientific contributions freely available in the journal, authors are charged a processing fee of 50.000 Francs CFA / 76,23 Euros per article.

The Editorial Board will only consider articles that comply with the instructions specified in the Note to Authors.
