In the commune of Yopougon, petrol stations serve both as favorable places where multitudes of related activities develop, this promiscuity of service stations and related and ancillary activities in the town of Yopougon (often less than 10m) attracting a large clientele is a permanent danger. The objective is to show that petrol stations are deposits of petroleum derivatives which are characterized by the attraction of numerous activities abounding around their area of establishment. The collection of information results from the consultation of the literature followed by several field surveys. The results show that even within service stations with the primary role of marketing petroleum derivatives such as petrol, diesel, kerosene and butane gas additional activities are developing such as preparation workshop of engines (oil change), car washes and even convenience stores. In addition, around these high oil distribution centers abound small trades such as garages, stations, small shops (restaurants and street vendors) and street vendors due to the massive presence of transport vehicles and users (passengers) in the departments of the stations.
