Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- Articles are submitted digitally in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word or RTF format. All text will be written in a single column, using Times New Roman font, 12 point, 1.5 line spacing, justified text. Use line breaks for each new paragraph and title. Do not use tabs (paragraphs).
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Note to Authors.
Author Guidelines
Selection and evaluation of articles
The editorial committee is responsible for the pre-selection and processing of articles submitted to the journal. This first step is based on the relevance and conformity of the articles to the objectives of the journal. Pre-selected articles are submitted to double-blind peer review. The final decision to publish the article takes into account its contribution to the knowledge of the scientific community and the readers.
Conflict of Interest
In the event of a conflict of interest regarding the author(s) or the content of an article to be evaluated, members of the editorial committee, the scientific committee and the evaluators are asked to withdraw from the evaluation and publication process of the article. Arrangements will be made to evaluate the article under impartial conditions.
Conditions of publication
All articles or other scientific contributions are published on the condition that their authors have read and accepted their contents and are responsible for all aspects of the accuracy and integrity of such material. Final publication of manuscripts is conditional upon acceptance of:
- the conditions of submission;
- the copyright and license agreement, which we strongly recommend you read, and, where applicable, the open data policy;
- payment of the processing and the publication fees.
Note to authors
The Editorial Board will only consider articles that comply with the instructions specified in the Note to Authors.
